Black Eagle Consulting, Inc. provided Quality Control and Quality Assurance (QC/QA) testing and inspection during construction of an approximate 800,000-square-foot heap leach pad expansion at the Florida Canyon Mine in Pershing County, Nevada. This heap leach pad expansion included mass grading, soil liner placement, leak detection system installation, and placement of an 80-mil high density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane liner system.
Our scope of work included field and laboratory testing of all soil materials and non-destructive examination (NDE) and testing of the geomembrane liner materials.
